Around the Corner Restaurant is one of Edmond’s oldest diners. Opened in 1951, it was originally named “Corner Restaurant” because it was on the corner of First and Broadway. After a change of ownership in the mid-70s, it was relocated in the middle of the block which was “Around the Corner” which is how the new name came about.

Today, the restaurant is owned and operated by the same family that owns Othello’s Italian Restaurant and The Zu Sports Grill. Prior to the current owners, Around the Corner had two previous owners but has always maintained the atmosphere of the town’s center for gossip and what’s going on in Edmond.
 

A few items have been added to the menu over the years, but not much has changed. You will still find the same old-fashioned atmosphere and best home-style cooking in Edmond. One constant that has remained the same with all three of the owners is,

“Around the Corner Restaurant is where we cook with love.”
